Festivals. Sunday’s festive procession is the crowning moment of the celebrations for Corpus Christi. The city’s entire entourage of popular culture figures will be involved in the parade, which dates back nearly seven centuries.
Festivals. The eleventh edition of the Science Festival transforms the Parc de la Ciutadella into a science lab with over a hundred activities such as workshops, experiments, storytelling, talks and music.
Culture. Museum Night is bigger this year with new spaces and a seventh themed route. A total of 87 cultural facilities will be opening until 1 am and offering visitors a chance to discover their collections free of charge.
Popular culture. The streets and squares of Nou Barris fill with activities for the district’s local festival over a weekend when the neighbourhoods of Guinardó, Bon Pastor, Navas and Porta will also be celebrating.
Popular festivals. The bicentenary celebrations start on 2 May with an exhibition at L’Envelat, keep the central programme for mid-August and offer a programme running through until the end of May 2018.
Festivities and culture. Local residents in the Sagrada Família neighbourhood have prepared thirty different activities to round off their local festival, with something for everyone.
Culture. The Barcelona Districte Cultural project offers two editions this year (in May and June and again in the autumn) and includes 20 arts proposals and 88 performances at 13 local cultural centres.
